I was driving home the other night, going over the bridge at Big River Beach, and saw these amazing, huge bubbles. Happily, I had been taking some Flowers On A Friday pictures, so I had my camera with me. I drove straight down to the beach, hoping to capture these beauties. The bubbles were spectacular! In one of the shots you can see the man creating the bubbles, and get an idea of their size. Sadly, he had to leave right before sunset, but can you imagine...

coming across those bubbles would be like a dream come true - how amazing. Serendipity rocks
Serendipity does rock! And it was amazing. You should have heard me squeal!
Ballerina Baller, how nice to know you are a local gal! Beginning on the First Friday in October, I will have work hanging at Toto Zaida (just a small assortment of my paintings). I also have a bunch of work hanging at the Stevenswood/vistor center in Mendocino, on Main Street. And I am the resident artist at Living Light. Locally, that's about it right now, but as things come up, I will post them here. Thanks for the question.
I see these and think how excited this site would have made my little niece!
I love the second to last shot best.
how dreamy! you really caught those bubbles at their best.
Wow, that IS serendipitous! How magical and beautiful! (When we are feeling joyful for no particular reason, we say we have "happy bubbles!" Now I know what they look like!) :-)
I like that expression Laloofah! Thanks everybody.
