A Snails Pace

I had to switch to satellite Internet access and I have to say I'm not impressed. It feels painfully slow, and my blog hopping isn't very bouncy.  I miss bopping all around the web. I guess this is the price you must pay for living in the woods. Anyway, I thought I would mention it, since I'm not visiting all of your lovely and inspiring blogs as much as I used to, sorry.

So sad.

That's an awfully pretty snail picture.

I remember our own not-so-long-ago days of Wild Blue satellite internet. Of course it felt turbo-charged compared to the dial-up it replaced!

It is sad you can't visit blogs like you used to, but thankfully you're still able to maintain your own blog!

Just finished painting a snail in rockery in one of my wild new one creature seascapes..they are hard to paint..I'm moving at a snails pace today.

Bummer about the internet...it's so easy to get spoiled with high-speed access. But, I'd be willing to trade that off for a lovely place in the woods.

I love snails; they're so cute!

I LOVE that snail photo, very cool. :) I'm so hooked on quick internet speed, I feel like so much time is wasted on slow connections! :P

I was actually considering satellite service in my quest to avoid qwest, maybe I need to keep exploring options.

I'm glad that you liked my snail portrait. I thought he was a cute little fella, but not everybody can see their charm.
Susan, your painting sounds fun!
Laloofah you are right it is all a matter of your perspective.
It sure feels slow compared to what I had before! :-(

that happened to me last year and I went through 3 different companies before I found one that had a high speed internet. But always remember at the end the turtle won the race.
