Today I'm very thankful for enlightenment. I love it when I read a book, see a movie, or talk to a friend and learn something new. I seek out opportunities, to glean new information, or look at things in a different way. So, I want to say thank you for the book I'm currently reading, and for the fact that it is opening my eyes a little wider. Please share, what are you thankful for this week?

I don't mean this to sound trite, though it may, but I'm thankful that you've reminded me to stop and think about all I have to be thankful for.
It's so easy to get caught up in life and focus on problems or the negative, but focusing on the things we do have, the good things, is so much more uplifting; it's what life's all about.
Thanks also for the lovely photo...it reminds me of waking up out in our back yard in the summer after sleeping out on the grass on a hot summer night.
It doesn't sound trite,it sounds very sweet. Thank you for letting me know.
I am thankful for life, family and God.
I love all your photos - but this one may just be my favorite. I could stare at it all day long. Absolutely beautiful.
I'm thankful for a good hairstylist. I went from feeling frumpy on Wednesday to a little big sassy with new color.
Those are lovely things to be thankful for Millie.
Jamie, thank you, I'm so glad you like this photo. I was a stunning sight! And, I know what you mean about the hairstylist, I go next week, and I can't wait. Heck, that may very well be what I'm thankful for next Thursday.
What a lovely photo! I've been drawn to fantasy books lately and this takes me to that "elsewhere" of my imagination :)
Rose, what wonderful thoughts! And true!
That IS a beautiful ~ even magical ~ photo! And I agree with Rose. It was a challenging week for me to find things to be thankful for, but I did manage it (in my calmer moments, lol), and it does shift one's energy! So this week, I'm thankful that our dog Josie is recovering well after surgery, for some loose ends that were finally tied up on some home-improvement projects, for the pellet stove part that arrived so we can be warm again, and that it's Friday! :-)
What book are you reading? I'm about to start "Autobiography of a Yogi," about which I keep hearing great things so I'm excited!
Have a great weekend, Jennifer!
Thank you everyone.
Laloofah, I'm happy to hear that Josie is feeling better.
