Playing With Images - Touch The Sky

So, I've been playing with more images that have been hanging around in my camera. I thought you'd find it interesting to see the before's, and after, image. The before images:

Sort of an interesting beginning, with a long way to go. After a bunch of Photoshop magic, and some fancy layering:
I call it Touch The Sky. I'm pretty happy with it. I like the message, and I think the image works pretty well too.

A Bit Distracted

I've been a bit distracted. My sweet little Abby dog is having some sort of "neurological episode". She was running around one minute, she suddenly stopped, and then fell over onto her side. Really scary. After that, her back-end went crazy. When she's able to walk she goes all crooked, and then she falls over. One of her eyes is unresponsive to light. The front half of her seems to work just fine. It's really sad to see this vibrant, playful little dog, in this state. Today, she is having a good day, and I'm feeling hopeful that she will get over this. Unfortunately, her status seems to go up and down. If you would send some good, happy thoughts in Abby's direction I sure would appreciate it.

Playing With Images

I've been playing with some images that have been hanging around, in my camera, for awhile now. They were kind of interesting, but before some Photoshop magic they were a bit on the blah side. Both of these photos were taken at the location of the Mad Hatters Tea Party wedding that I worked on. The garden gate photo from the other day was from that day too. That spot was ripe with photo opportunities. There are a least a couple more shots that deserve a second look, and a little play time.
I'm really happy with the truck with rose petals photograph. I think it would make a great book cover. I'm just putting that thought out there. A couple of my other photographs have been used as book covers, so you never know. I'm imagining a Nicholas Sparks novel. What do you think?

Flower Shortage

Flowers are a bit hard to find at this time of year, so instead, I decided to share this beautiful garden gate. I love how moody, mysterious, and magical it looks. The mist and the tall grass seems to invite, and discourage, exploration all at the same time.
Have a magical weekend everybody.
